my new 90 gallon is coming very soon =D..can a lionfish go with coral reef..some ppl said yes some said no...if it can..what other fishes can a lionfish go with?? I was thinking just put 1 lionfish and couple of peaceful fishes..

lions are reef safe except they eat shrimp. in a 90g i would get a volitan or russels. keep to the bit smaller species

lionfish are considered reef safe but some wouldn't reccomend putting it in a reef because of all the waste they produce. So yes, you can put a lionfish in a reef, you just have to keep up with maintance. The reason why I don't have one in my tank is because they are very good hunters and will eat other fish.

Lion reefs are very do-able, understock you tank and you should be fine. havent had any waster problems in my lion tanks before but i havent got that far into corals yet.
