I just read a great article in Coral magazine. It's all about proper flow in reef tanks. If you have the opportunity read up before you buy anything. I highly recommend implementing some of these techniques. Your tank is so large, that a well thought out system of power-heads is going to be tough to do, but can be really good if you visualize it, and plan it out beforehand. More will always be better, but if you don't work out the proper flow dynamics, you could just make a mess faster. Like a great new golf club (now I can hit it even further into the woods!!!) I have 2 of the Tunze waveboxes and the 6255 now in action, the difference is amazing. I am going to add another 6255 in April and that should allow me to shut down the closed loops I have been wasting power on for years.

I'm planning on adding some closed loops to my next big project upgrade.:lol2: A DC pump running an oceans motions to the opposite ends of the tank. Some lock-line, eductors, and a Y fitting. Back and forth and back and forth and..:rollface:..URPPP.... Fish don't get seasick do they?:lol:

Yes, I have finally turned a corner with this tank. So far the corals that do best in my tank are chalices and montis. I'll toss up some pics soon.

Well this made my Friday at work go by faster! Can't wait for your next update since now you mention you are having success! I just watched a lobo melt over a week in my tank :/ have to figure that out since I have birdsnest's, monti's, zoa's and Frogspawns all doing fine.
