9002 Microbubble issue

I have had the 9002 skimmer for a few months now and so far it's been working well.

Today though, I noticed the skimmer is spewing tons of microbubbles from the bottom casing.. I have tried adjusting the air tubing, adjusting the height of the skimmer in the water, and other things.. nothing..

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

But no supplements or vitamins? Were the corals soft corals, possibly shedding a lot of mucus?

no supplements or vitamins or anything.. I did a small 2 gallon water change, but that was with my normal salt and RO water.. also last night.

I would just give it a couple days. I think it is just something from the water change or the corals.

I actually thought about something else.. a few of my corals needed epoxy to cement them to the live rock.. could that cause air bubbles as well?

Yes, it would for sure, with our epoxy stick we suggest doing the epoxy work in a bucket for this reason. It will subside after a few days.
