9002 PumpStopped Working

I have a 9002 skimmer and the pump stopped working. I have not taken it apart to see if there is anything I can do and wanted to see if anyone else had issues with this. It is only around 6 months old.

Best guess is that if the pump has not been cleaned in 6 months calcium has simply locked the impeller to the shaft it spins on. Remove the impeller assembly and the impeller should spin easily on the shaft, if it is stuck, you need to work it loose and soak it in vinegar to dissolve any calcium deposits.

Thanks. I will clean it this weekend. I did have it still plugged in for a couple of weeks without it working and hope it did not burn it out.
