9002 pushing clear skimate

My skimmer has been running great for a couple of months now i shut it off to do a water change and now it seems to push large bubbles up the tube into the collection cup the cup will fill full within a day and adjusting the air valve only affects how fast the cup fills with basically water. its been like this for about a week and it doesnt seem to be getting any better. Any ideas whats going on with it?

Did you add anything besides doing the water change? Any dechlorinator or stress coat or vitamins or slime algae killer? Is the water level higher than it used to be?

i added chemi clean cause i had a red slime problem on my sun corals about a week ago, i shut off the skimmer gave it 48hrs and then did a 25% water change before turning the skimmer on. the water level is the same as it used to be no change there.

The chemi clean will cause this, until the chemi clean has decomposed or been completely removed the skimmer will continue to foam over, any skimmer would react this way. Run some carbon and give it a couple weeks to completely return to normal.

thanks ill run some carbon and give it some time then and maybe do another water change to help remove it faster.
