9002 Skimmer problem

Hi, I bought a 9002 skimmer about a week ago and it was running great til tonight when it just stopped producing lots of bubbles. It is still producing some bubbles, but they are not coming very far up the collection cup.
Is there something I should be doing (ie: cleaning it) so that it will skim again? Why would it all of a sudden stop producing lots of bubbles?
Should I take it apart and clean it or will that void any warranty on it.

Hello and Welcome to Reef Central I have a 9002 a couple of things that cause it to stop making bubbles are change in salinity and water level. Do you have a ATO. It is still breaking in so it may need some small adjustments. Good luck

How deep is it submerged? Is it making any gurgling or percolating noises? My guess is water entered the air line from being too deeply submerged.

BTW, of course you can take it apart and clean, if anything neglecting to take care of the skimmer is going to void your warranty, cleaning and dissassembly is outlined in the manual.
