9002 something aint right

cleaned my skimmer 3 weeks ago and it was skimming like mad. darkest skimmate i had yet. then all of a sudden its overflowing and spewing bubbles in the tank. i have the screw all the way closed and it still has bubbles in the riser but is not producing any foam to rise just bubbles. any thoughts? btw nothing was added out of the norm to change the way it skims

I would double check that the jet pipe is through the baffle and the pump is properly inserted. Other than that I cannot think of any cause. Keep in mind that even a new filter pad or media could cause this sort of reaction.
