9004 stopped foaming

I have had the 9004 for awhile now. Routinely disassembled and cleaned it. I noticed lately that it wasn't foaming very well. I continually have increased the air flow to the point now, that there isn't any more adjustment remaining. And after a whole day almost no foam. The bio-load has not changed and I have not been treating the tank with any chemicals that would cause this. Is there a solution ? Thanks Rick,

Check the hole in the impeller cover that the air hose is attached to, this builds up salt creep over time.

I noticed It was very hard to blow through it. Not sure how to clean it ? I will try when I get home from work. Thanks for your advise. Rick

You need to break down the skimmer and take the impeller cover off the pump. I would soak it in 50/50 hot water and vinegar, as hot as you can get from the tap, if it is really built up you may need to pick it out, I would use a drill bit of suitable size and twist it through the blockage by hand.
