9010 and ozone

I am about to get a 9010 skimmer. Was thinking of running ozone in the future. Does anyone have experiences running ozone through the 9010 skimmer?

You can absolutely. In low doses it is ideal because it won't disrupt skimming much and clarifies the water. I would use 1mghr per 25gals. You connect the ozonizer to the nipple on the side that is for airline tubing and pump it in with a 50mg/hr pump.

I guess what I was asking does it usually drastically increase your skimmate or decrease it with the 9010. Or would it more depend on the chemistry of my water to tell what effect it would have.

It depends on the dose, a small amount will have little effect, a lot will result in no skimming at all.
