9010 pump cleaning

Does anyone have a good step by step guide for cleaning the pump? I have had this skimmer for just over a year and I think its time to clean out the pump.

Look at the top thread on this forum, the same basics apply to the skimmer. It is also in the manual and there is an article on the tunze.com website.
