9010 skimmer pump not working

i have a 9010 that is about one year old that the pump seems to stop working on occasion. I have cleaned it well..but sometimes the pump just buzzes and dosnt move any water.

Just today when cleaning it again, i noticed one of the brakes on the impellor assembly seems to stick out on occasion, and nothing ive done seems to fix it..

any suggestions?

Probably the brake shoe or the cog on the rotor that engages it is damaged. Can you send me the pump and we will check it out and get it repaired?
