Well its been about a week now and I am getting allot of bubbles in my display via my return pump....

Is it normal for the bottom of the skimmer to fill with bubbles where the pump is? I can't figure out how to fix this as the bottom plate does not seal the bottom of the skimmer at all....
And what I mean by fill is as soon as I turn the skimmer on and watch under where the feet are there is a stream of bubbles pumping out around the edges of the skimmer consistantly.....I even tried to slow down the intake on the skimmer and still it won't stop.....
Can anyone offer me some help.. I can't stand the bubbles in the display and am about to shut this off...

I was syked to get this and am worried now there might be something wrong with it.... I sure hope not though? I will be so bummed:(

Thanks

It could just be a matter of break in and it can also be an issue with the water if a colloid of somesort is used (stress coat/ dechlorinator) but besides that I would double check the assembly. If the bottom plate is bowed down that could be a cause and if the pump is not in correctly such that the outlet is inserted in the jet pipe and the inlet has the coupler over it, that could also be a cause.
