9011 skimmer question (for Roger)

Roger,
We have chatted in the past. In fact, I have sent you my 9011 insump skimmer to check out and make sure everything looked ok. I just feel like it should be pulling more out. I have taken a few pics to document.
So what happens is after a good cleaning of the collection cup, bubbles collect and goes into the cup. But after about 2-3 days it seems to just stop. This is when the sides start to collect green crud. I am wondering if that's just when I need to start cleaning it. I just feel it should be continually collecting.

That pic above is after 3 days. Here is day 1. Doing this from ipad so not so easy. At day 3 it seemed to have stopped skimming And never collected anymore crud in the cup until I cleaned the cup.

That would be fairly normal, the crud on the cup prevents more skimmate from rising up, it pops the foam head. Setting the skimmate to be more watery will help keep the cup cleaner and give more days between cleaning the cup, but the best results will be attained cleaning the cup every 2-3 days and at a minimum once per week.
