90g upgrade

Hi, im getting ready to upgrade my 4' 40g sps tank to a 90g dominant sps w/ a few acans and other lps. I just need a few suggestions on equipment.

For my skimmer im thinking the Tunze DOC 9010

For flow i have 2 modded Tunze Nano 6025s which put out around 900 gph Im thinking maybe 2 vortex's or 2 Tunze 6000's with the controller. Leaning more toward the vortex's due to the fact i can push 3000gph per pump if i need and they have battery back-ups

lighting will be either 2 250 hqi 10k's on the pfo hqi ballast or 2250 iwasawki 6500k with 4 t5 actinics to supplement it

my return pump is going to be a ehiem 1260, i dont want to much flow to keep the tank as silent as possible.

any suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

I would suggest Eheim 1262 actually I had to slow down my overflows on my 90 because it was not returning fast enough and this is with 1" return pipe. This pump is very silent and expends very little heat.

tunze 9010 great choice i am running one also on my 90 gal with the sump kit it includes.

sounds like you've got it all covered. on the eheim 1260 return pump, just be sure to use 1" return plumbing.
