92g corner bow front for sale

As our new tank setup nears completion we are looking at passing along our current tank. It is an AGA 92c corner bow front on a Oceanic black stand w/ smoked glass door. The tank is topped by an oceanic canopy that we modified for reef ligthing usage. The overflow is also slightly modified to allow more, and random, flow. (more about the lighting setup shortly)

EDIT : This is a great tank for someone who doesn't have the room for a traditional tank footprint, as we originally didn't (still don't, that was why we went in-wall with our new tank). This design allows greater utilization of floor space, both for the tank and for the other furniture in the room. We found it to be quite effective.

It measures 35 1/2" from the back corner eqilaterally to the front edge. This depth offers some great advantages for aquascaping. Here is how we have it scaped now.

Unfortunately it does not look as good as it could/should, mainly because we have been focusing so much on the new tank setup, and all of the tasks involved with getting that up and running *sigh*. (you can see it half full to the left of our current tank in the first picture.. RO/DI should be done filling by tomorrow evening, hopefully :)).

Here is a shot of it in out current floorplan, from a distance, to give it proper perspective (unfortunately taken last night after lights out).

The canopy is a custom lighting setup that employs 2 250W DE reflectors and 2 65W PC bulbs and several moonlights. It has been running over our tank for almost 18 months now

Here are some pictures of the lighting (with the Oceanic canopy removed, the Oceanic canopy just rests around the edge of the tank, only serving to block the lighting setup from view, and supprting no weight). It also has an Icecap 4" fan built in for ventilation.

One other addition is a hook for holding the glass top open for feeding, etc

Inside the tank there are 2 Tunze 6100s w/ Tunze magnets with a 7095 multi-controller controlling them both (one Tunze less than a year old, the other and the controller about 14 months). One 6100 is to the top left, the second is buried in the rock to the bottom right (in our setup there was still enough cord to pull it out for cleaning the impeller).

Currently we use a remote sump in our garage that we are using for hte new tank, but we have the sump that came with the tank, a CPR IY194 supposeldy rated for 100 gallons, but I would only use it on a FOWLR, or as an interim solution until a better sump wa aquired. We also have a mag drive that will be included for the return.

We do have a larger, custom sump that we used to use for this tank, but it would not fit under the stand. We had that running remotely previously also. We paid over $500 for it when we bought it a little over a year ago. It is stitting dry in the back and a deal can be worked out to include it with this setup, if needed (and the buyer has the ability to run it remotely, as we did/do).

We are out in Oakley, down I-4. This can be moved with a large enough pickup truck and for a fee I would consider transporting/delivering it (but to be honest, you likely wouldn't like my fee :)).

We are asking $1500 for everything.

edit : minus the livestock, sand and rock (see next post)

We would consider selling some of the LR pieces along with the tank, since they were all hand picked over the last 2 1/2 years specifically for this tank and the aquscaping options afforded by it's design.

The buyer will have the option of making a deal for the LR and/or sand, otherwise I will just add it to our new tank.

With everything that we are throwing in, I think so. We priced it reasonable to be able to move it quicker (optimistically).

I forgot to add that it won't be available for pickup until the end of January (maybe a little later if things don't go as planned with the new tank). But we wanted to put this out FS now since it seems to be easier to sell a tank that is up and running versus an empty glass "bowl" sitting in a garage :). Just easier to envision how it would look in it's new home this way by any prospective buyers.

Still available FS. As we are drawing nearer to having our new tank set up, so this one draws closer to being drained and ready for pickup. I also would be willing to make someone a great deal on the rockwork (with some nice encrusted corals on it) since we are picking up those huge, awesome, pieces of base rock from Marco Rocks now, so no need to try to reuse any of the rock from this tank.

Got your PM Perry, not sure that our timelines will mesh with yours, and we wouldn't be able to sell off any of this live rock until after the tank sold, in case the buyer wanted them to help push the deal through.

I even have plans for the remaining sand, unless the tank buyer makes a deal for it, sorry :(

Tank is still available. Seveal people have been by to see it (just visiting), so they can attest to how it looks :).

I am also going to throw in the Algae Free Tiger Shark cleaning magnet/float and drop the price to $1300 obo. AS the time draws nearer to tearing down this tank, so does our desire to get it moved out of here :).

Finally going to try to take this tank down this weekend. We have left it up wih a circulation pump running just to keep the LS alive, but now that is not enough motivation. We are willing to part out the tank, if there is enough interest. The first thing to go before we start parting out would be the tank, stand and canopy itself. $500 obo takes that (the stand alone cost more than that 18 months ago, IIRC).

I will work up a price list for the other parts if the tank sells.

well, I had someone from back East that was interested in the custom MH ligthing canopy that we built for this tank. They offerred to pay for shipping on it if we decided to part out, although that was a while ago, so I am not sure if they are still interested.. but until I find out I am not going to be tearing apart the canopy to sell the lighting components :) I would much rather someone be able to take advantage of the canopy we made (for those that don't like to have wires hanging from their ceiling to light their tanks :)).

Dropping the price to $1200 for everything (sump, return pump, cleaner magnet, tank, stand, canopy, fittings, plumbing, tunzes and controller, lighting, etc -- everything needed to set up a running reef tank). I am planning to finally move the tank into the garage later this week (succeeded in clearing out a place for it today). Once that move is completed the sand will no longer be "live".

Tank/stand/canopy $450
All above + the custom lighting $700
(no sump, return pump, etc)

$1200 is a great deal guys. Somebody buy this. Sell the Tunze setup and light and you got the tank plus other stuff for free :D ..

Just as an FYI that I will not part anything out until the tank sells, to be able to offer the pieces parts to the buyer as a package. Once that sells I will part out whatever is left over. Seems like everyone is hot for the Tunzes :)

FYI, tank still avail

will consider partial trade for clams/acros/LPS/zoas :)
