As our new tank setup nears completion we are looking at passing along our current tank. It is an AGA 92c corner bow front on a Oceanic black stand w/ smoked glass door. The tank is topped by an oceanic canopy that we modified for reef ligthing usage. The overflow is also slightly modified to allow more, and random, flow. (more about the lighting setup shortly)
EDIT : This is a great tank for someone who doesn't have the room for a traditional tank footprint, as we originally didn't (still don't, that was why we went in-wall with our new tank). This design allows greater utilization of floor space, both for the tank and for the other furniture in the room. We found it to be quite effective.
It measures 35 1/2" from the back corner eqilaterally to the front edge. This depth offers some great advantages for aquascaping. Here is how we have it scaped now.
Unfortunately it does not look as good as it could/should, mainly because we have been focusing so much on the new tank setup, and all of the tasks involved with getting that up and running *sigh*. (you can see it half full to the left of our current tank in the first picture.. RO/DI should be done filling by tomorrow evening, hopefully
).
Here is a shot of it in out current floorplan, from a distance, to give it proper perspective (unfortunately taken last night after lights out).
