Pretty impressed with the quality so far only downside they don't cut the hole in the stand for the drains so I have to move the tank again. Almost went with marineland 265 but have sceen a few local tanks that cracked for no reason.
Here's a link to the lights I will run

Tank will be fish only so not to worried about light coverage.

Have some tunzes for flow one 6205 one 6255 two 6055s

What did you do with the big tank you had? On the new tank are you going to run the filtration to the basement or sump under tank?

Tanks full and cycling not sure if I like the rockwork but have a month if I want to change. Just put some t5 retros on until I order other lights. Will add sand later on want to syphon detritus from the bottom.

It's the Tonga that's throwing it off.
Tonga rock is cool for sure, but hard to blend it in with other stuff......and just as hard to do Tonga only and make look "natural".

Aquascaping is a personal choice and its hard to get a feel for the total design from just a picture. That being said, I have a couple comments.

1) If you are going to have corals then you want to have plenty of horizontal surfaces at all depths so you have a surface to place your corals. The right side of the picture looks to vertical to me and doesn't give you good places for the corals.

2) Once the corals start to get larger they tend to hide the rocks - so I wouldn't obsess too much about the details - they'll get hidden by corals. Instead, I'd focus on creating open spaces - arches, caves, etc. that won't be blocked by corals.

3) Give the fish places to swim and hide - they like to dive into caves, through tunnels, and under arches.

My two cents . . .

Yeah think I'm going to redo the rock this weekend might bury the tonga so it's not as noticeable. Trying to avoid it but might have to but some more rock cause this is all I have besides a couple small pieces.

Plan to keep this tank fish only will be mostly Angels and butterfly's so most corals won't have a chance. Might try two seperate Rock piles want to keep the Rock off the back glass this time.

I just wish I could set up a new tank. It has taken me ten times as long.
I was kind of in a rush to get this tank cycling have all my fish in cramed in 2 40 breeders at the moment. When's your tank going to be running?

That's a great question. I have some rock I'll trade for that tonga. Pm me if interested.

Forgot to update this thread. Not a lot going on fish are getting big. Here some pics of my angels. Have another one in qt but it's to shy to compete.
