I finally upgraded to the 9410 skimmer. The 9015.140 cup can be used with this skimmer according to the Tunze instruction booklet. Does using this cup improve the 9410s overall performance?

In terms of skimmer performance, how does the foam extraction accessory compare to Tunze 9415 collection cup when used on 9410 in the above context?

The 9420.140 foam extractor is slightly shorter than a 9415.140 cup, the skimmate will be slightly wetter and you will have some range of adjustment still to open or close the air just a bit, with the 9415.140 cup it will generally have to be open 100% and lean toward the drier side of skimming.
