9440 vs. 9420 vs. 9020 noise level difference?

hi - i'm considering either a 9020, 9420 or a 9440 for my 250 gal SPS tank.

of these, is there much difference in noise level? i understand that the 9440 and 9020 have dual hydrofoamers. i also understand that the 9440 sticks out of the water more.

my tank will be like a large all-in-one. it has a false wall and a very large area (60" x 22" x 12") for skimmer and fuge. so the noise level matters since the skimmer will not be hidden within a cabinet.

if there is only a slight noise level difference, i'd like to get the largest skimmer i can fit in my space.

The 9020 will be the quietest of the 3 but all 3 are quieter than the majority of skimmers on the market and I think with the cabinet doors closed there would be little if any audible noise.

What is the actual foot print of the 9440 and 9420? would they fit in an 20" x 12" space?

The 9420 would, the 9440 would not. It needs a sump that is 18" wide. The pumps and outlet pipe are configured in a Y. They are the same skimmer the 9440 just has the one extra pump (which could be added later to a 9420) and this increase the width.
