What would happen if i put a lionfish and a mantis shrimp in together? They would be in a 20 gallon or a 34 gallon.
a 3-4 inch lion with a 2-3 inch mantis

One will die, possibly both. i've only heard 1 story where it turned out fine. Sometimes the mantis kill the lion, others times the lion kills the mantis, sometimes the mantis gets caught halfway in the lion's mouth and the mantis beats on the lions insides till it dies and the mantis dies of suffocation. Overall not good.
