A bit of LS and clean up crew!

I used some old sand for my aquarium and I have about 2-3 inches of it. I think since the sand was old that all the little creatures in it are dead.
I want to have all the little critters, and bugs and stuff so does anyone have a small bit of live sand they can donate to a good cause?

Also I need a clean up crew...so any snails, fish safe little crabs or anything similar that you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
