A blue gigantea update thread

Adtravels: thanks for thinking about this. I really didn't think anyone was interested. I still have them and will provide pictures late tonight to compare to earlier pictures. In my opinion, the tentacle density hasn't changed but the color may have grown darker blue.
I took a calculated risk allowing macro to grow in the tank with them and hand pruning only. It's quite a lot of work and I'm starting to feel uncomforatable with so much algae. I may end up changing out some rock.
Another note:
I am also uncomfortable with the size they have grown/expanded and I plan to set up the 3x3 cube from Marineland as there next home sooner than I wanted to. It will be a dedicated gigantea clown tank (150 gal).

Tobb: umm. well one to replace the cube. So it would be an upgrade instead of an addition.

Hmm, if that is what you have to tell yourself, I will let it go.
I am hanging in there -- short version -- not going as well as we ( me and my doc ) had hoped. There is still a chance that I will have to go back in.

It's not what I have to tell myself, it's what the nems are telling me! I'm sorry to hear about the progress. I have time between this weekend and next weekend to come help you. What is your schedule?
garygb: Thank you very much for your comment. It's particularly meaningful to me coming from long term nem keepers.
Also, I've come across some comments about dark vs. lights on and how much they shrink. Here is an idea of what my two look like when lights first come one. I think I have dog smudge on the lens, the quality of pictures come out kind of cloudy unless I do macro setting.
This is about 5-10 minutes after I switched lights on (w. flash):

So, since the last picture...I think the tentacle density has pretty much stayed the same but the color has darkened. I think that is encouraging.

You know, puffy, that if you weren't so nice to me, I would have to make some smart comment. However, I will bite my tongue, at least until I have my new tank.
