"a bristle worm" !!!!!

Doing my water change and sucking out detritus, low and behold whats at the bottom of bucket. Thou i have many bristle worms this guy was bigger than my lawnmower blenny, about 4 inches when extended. I realize they are good for clean up, but!

I don't mind the small ones (less then an 1"), but the big boys give me the creeps.

I think they're beneficial as added diversity, but the creepy factor and the bristles in the finger make me not like them.

It's a good idea to wear protective gloves in aquariums that house those bigger worms :lol2:

Some species can grow to lengths over 36"!

I've seen one with my own eyes that was a couple feet in length... it was stuck in the plumbing of a closed loop system that I helped tear apart because it wasn't flowing like it used to :lmao:
