mister rocks there is correct. That is a great book to read if your into clams? I have to say some clams are a bit picky too keep happy. bout like wives but one thing i have learned is a varied diet and stable water balance is one of the keys to clam life. Its kind of like if you were introduced to a new inviroment and as soon as you get settled it all starts to change again, we would just give up and bleach out to. But like i said its just from my prospective. hope it helps
