my green BTA's
( the pic doesn't show all the beautiful speckled tentacles )
well one of my clones has decided to split again, this time right out in the open on the glass. it is actually quite odd because she moved directly under a 400W halide a few weeks before the split but seemed very happy and ate whenever offered food. on sunday the whole gang had some krill for lunch and within a few hours i could see the tug of war starting. i got all excited, ran and got my camera and started taking pics. i would say 80%+ of the split was done in a few hours but it is now 3 days later and the final 3/8" still hasn't separated. the 1/2 nems look very healthy but are still holding on.
the questions
is this normal to take so long to finish the split? my nems usually go hide for a week or so and just emerge one day looking for some food.
should i get in there with a scalpel and finish the split?
any help would be greatly appreciated
