I ordered a green south Asian carpet online and it arrived at 90 degrees floated down to tank temp released it and the thing was inside out could not tell which side was up for about 20 minuets. After about an hour it was 50% mouth it took another couple hours before it started to look somewhat normal. It has been a week now & it will puff up looking pretty good except the mouth is always a bit open and a will fall back to 25% of its size with 50% mouth. My numbers are good No3 is <2ppm. It has dug itself into the sand a bit. So my question is how long does it take for it to settle in?
Thanks

I think a photo would be helpful, but usually they will get settled in less than a week's time. You may want to prepare for the possibility of a medicating in case it gets worse later.

Here is a photo a week in from in side out.
Thanks

That is most likely a Haddoni carpet. It looks very stressed. Just provide it with good water and light with low to moderate curre t and hope for the best. If it continue to deflates it may benefit from a course of treatment
