A Customdusty Rimless Build

Very nice setup for those hanging lights, I'll have to try something like that.

Just be careful with using hanging arms, if you noticed earlier in my build I chose to reinforce them. Despite this, they still do not have enough strength to support the heavier fixtures and are bending quite a bit in my case.

In the picture of your sump room is that a small power back up unit on the floor?

Yes it is. I more so have it to prevent stoppages during short power outages and to allow me to turn off the circuit breakers to maybe change a light fixture or whatever. It only powers the return pump, and provides about 2 hrs of run time.

What hanging arms did you go with? I saw where you strengthen them (earlier in the thread) and that still wasn't enough? Is your current light fixture heavier than the ATI?

They were Current USA arms. Yes and even with the reinforcement, it still isn't quite enough. My fixtures have definitely been much heavier than the Current USA ones, but I'm not sure about the ATI. I would guess the ATI would be perhaps a bit lighter than the Sfiligoi, the materials on the Sfiligoi are pretty thick and heavy.

I'm finally getting around to playing with my new digital camera. I still don't understand it and how to get the right balance of colors yet.

Just some interesting shots I ended up with....

It's such a shame to see the tank now with so much of my SPS gone and the big colonies all fragged out. It sucks so bad to have lost all of the maturity from over the past few years.

:(

Awesome looking tank... and great choices on your equipment!
