A few non-reef safe fish for sale

I am breaking down my FO tank and have the following fishes for sale or free to good home, but you must prove it is a good home! I love these fish and hate getting rid of them but life circumstances are making it happen.

1) Red coris wrasse - this fish has great personality. It is still in the middle of changing to adult coloration. I have had this fish at least 1-1/2 years. Around 6" long. $15

2) White stripped maroon clown - around 3-4". Sassy is her name - says it all! I have had her 2-1/2 years. $10

3) Klein's butterfly fish - awesome aptaisa eater! I have had it around 6 months. $15

4) Fisher's dwarf angel. Very cute and active. I did have it in my reef, but it picked on open brains. If you have no open brains it could go in a reef. $10

Once the fish are gone I will have the following for sale: 120 (4'x2'x2') glass thank with very well built and nice oak stand and canopy stained red oak (not reef-ready)with 2 t-5 ho actinics; deltec mce600 skimmer (works great!) and hob cpr large refugium.

Kim, I'd love the Red Coris Wrasse, the White Striped Maroon, and the Fisher's angel!

Also, when you're ready to sell the hardware, I'd like to check out the hob refugium (if you intend to piece that tank out)!

Awesome Jon! It was hard to make this post, but I am having to move and I just won't have room or money for all my current tanks.

When would you like the fish? I can catch them whenever you are ready.

well, if you have the time this evening, I'll be driving through your area after work today. I could meet you today between 5 and 6:30ish if you're able; if today is too soon then I could meet you some other evening this week as well. it's up to you...i know how hard it can be to catch those guys!

wow, I can't believe you're moving...having seen the fabulous tanks in your home I can't imagine trying to move that much equipment and livestock. I may be a bit crippled at the moment, but I do have a truck, so if you need help with the move in the future let me know.

I hope to be staying in Davis. I found a nice place in North Davis, but my house needs to sell first. My plan is to get a new, custom tank and then move everything into the new tank at the new house. I am soooo not looking forward to it.

Jon - come by tonight and we can try and catch them. The hardest will be the wrasse. He buries himself whenever I do things in the tank. But if you watch where he goes I can probably net him out. I will send you my cell #.

How big is it, model etc?

Nuuze - I have no idea if the kliens is sps or zoo safe. I looked it up and it said not reef safe.

xia - if nuuze doesn't want it it is all yours.

buttons - shively made a first call on the refugium if I don't sell as a package. You would be 2nd in line. It is the CPR large HOB. 24" long I think.

I forgot about the goby I have in there. It is a pink speckled goby. It will eat shrimp if given the chance. Free to good home.

Having seen the spotted goby I will say that he/she is both very healthy and nicely colored...someone should snap it up while it's still available...

Kim, if it's not a sand sifting goby, and if no one else is interested (I don't want to be greedy) I'd be interested, and could pick it up when I bring your bucket back to you.

Also, I just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful clown and pygmy angel. They were both acclimated and introduced to my F/O tank last night and are doing very well (though still somewhat shy). It was great seeing you and your tanks again, as always. so...Thanks again!

Jon, I'm glad they are doing well! The wrasse was still hiding in the sand early this morning, but I will check again when I go home at lunch. I have seen the goby occasionally grab a mouth of sand, but it doesn't do it very often. All yours if you want it!
