A few pics from my 90 gal...

Henry, very nice.

Those fixtures have turned out a great surprise, for me at least.

Corals seem happy. I´m curious to see them in a couple of more months.

really nice!!
i know there are more and more fantastic tanks using leds, but the growth and coloration you are getting is absolutely stellar.
love the top down shots
keep the pics coming!
have you had the leds since your crash?

Hi, thanks for the compliment . Yes I bought the LEDs in April and my tank crashed in November. I was out of town on a job site working

Beautiful top down shots! The SPS colonies look very colorful and healthy. Looks like lots of flow is working wonders for you. Would you happen to have tank PAR readings? I'm especially interested in how much light intensity the Red Planet is getting to maintain the red/pink coloration under these LEDs.

Hi, Nano sapiens. If I remember correctly at the waters surface with both sets of lights on it was higher than the par meter could read(over 2000). At the bottom it was around 260. I don't have the numbers handy at the moment but I can look them up and post them. From my experience the higer or closer to the lighting the more red/pink the Red Planet will get. The colony on my overflow gets both direct and indirect light due to the curve of the overflow. The area closer to the middle and back of the overflow is more red and the area closer to the side panel of glass twoards the front is more green. The colony that is in direct light is also more red but has some slight green near the base.Hope this answered your question.

Yes update...I'am so conflicting now between high end LED and T-5's. Man even these China LED are getting the job done right. Really killer tank even after the crash...

WOW...whoever sayd leds couldnt grow sps or color them , really hasnt seen your tank. You really are an inspiration to us new LED users worldwide. I can only dream that my new in progress tank looks this nice. keep up the good work

I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I am in the process of setting up another 90 gallon tank. I ended up losing most of my corals when my skimmer pump shorted out and fried. I took a break for a couple of years and am ready to give it another go. Tank will be sps like the last time. I will post more later on...
