I received a few new sps today so I got the camera out and took some pics. I was messing with the WB and I took these.
Interesting color with the light coming in through the windows.
Tank actually looks much more blue than these pics.

My SPS are finally starting to recover from a whole tank pest treatment.

Enjoy

I treated the tank for red bugs and planaria flatworms. In both cases I did a whole tank treatment. The red bug treatment went without a hitch but the FW treatment almost wiped out my whole tank. All my sps bleached within minutes of the treatment. I lost a few fish but luckly all my coral made it. They are starting to regain color and are once again growing.

I had planaria flatworms in my 180g and treated it with FW exit years ago but they would always come back. So this time I treated the tank with Levamisole and so far I have not seen one FW. But it was really harsh on the system. Since the tank was so new I thought it was a good idea to rid the tank now and not let them get out of hand. Many people have planaria FWs and they really dont cause any problems but I dont like them in my tank as they can reproduce rapidly and can cover almost every inch of your rock over time. What I didnt realize was how many of them were already in my system. Within seconds of treating the tank my water was completely red and the FWs were everywhere. The toxins from the dying FW is what really messed up the tank.

I heard some Wrasse's eat flatworms, but would one be enough to keep them under control or actually eliminate them?
