I almost picked up a clam today at my lfs after seeing your photo! When you say upgraded PC what do you mean?

That sure is one beautiful bivalve. Nice nano!

Pulling some mighty nice shots out of that G5.

This G5 is about on its last leg....:lol: ... It still works but after almost 6 yrs. of service its not taking as good a pic as it has before. You would think it would last longer, I've only taken probably 100,000 pics with it....

The stock tank had two 36 watt PC's and I bought the retro kit from nanocustoms.com that adds another 36 watt and a 24 watt.

Went from 72watts to 132 watts.....

It wasn't designed to last 100,000 pics, I would guess that less than 1% of cameras were specifically designed to last at least that long 6 years ago. Most of the high quality higher quality cameras (like my 40D released a little over a year ago) are rated for 100,000 until you shouldn't be disappointed if the shutter wears out. Point and shoot cameras such as the G series and the X series just aren't built for that. Now the camera doesn't turn to dust but everything with moving parts wears out. Cameras have VERY fast moving parts.
