Its a 40 gallon, thanks for the kind words. I think with all the corals and rock it probably only holds about 15 actual gallons of water hahaha

looks good, you dont see to many people showing off there softy tanks. I have a softy tank with a few LPS.

How does that clam do in your softie tank? I have heard that some people have no problems, but I'v also heard horror stories about it.

I have had no problem with the clam, I have had it about 6 months and its healthy and growing nicely. I do have a 150w halide over the tank with the PC's just for the clam though. I probably wouldnt keep a clam under PC lighting alone.

That looks great! How old is it? How do you keep the green star polyps from spreading all over?

I have had this tank up for about 7 months now, Its a 40 gallon with a barebottom. As far as the GSP's i just put those in the tank so they havent had a chance to take over yet. When they do start spreading i will just remove rocks of it and replace with new ones.

I feel the same way--I probably will never get into sps-----

then again for 25-30 years I said I would never touch salt water:lol: :lol:

have a look on the thread I posted above---there are some beautiful tanks there----and don't be afraid to show your tank--everyone learns something from seeing other tanks.:smokin:
