Sick pics man. How high are you keeping your t5s from the water line?
Are you still dosing nitrate?
looks great!
Almost every single day. Haven't tested nitrates in 6 weeks.
looking good. a calcium reactor for my new tank is on the list. love the colors of your corals.
What were the nitrates at 6 weeks ago?
Per your experience and some other threads on the forums, I'm going to start dosing nitrates in a 3 year old tank with consistently low nitrates and phosphates (0). I bought a bag of calcium nitrate from greenleafaquariums that I'm going to try mixing up this weekend.
I cut out big sections of the top of my canopy and drilled some holes in the front part. Now my t5s are staying cool and I don't need any fans to keep them cool. If I closed my canopy the fixtures would over heat and dim down.
I know it looks ugly, but nobody will see it, so I didn't spend any time trying to make it look nice.
some suggestion
get aluminum screen, painted black then put on top of the canopy it will looks better and also prevent unwanted falling inside the tank.

.5-1ppm. idk what is consuming all the nitrates. I do have a refugium, but I can't believe the chaeto is absorbing the nitrates that fast. I guess it's possible. I've yet to see my nitrates hit anything above 1ppm. I would be happy if they stayed around 5.
You can always add more fish to get the Nitrates up
Your SPS are excellent...WHAT ARE YOUR PAR READINGS?
Yea I def don't have enough fish. But I find it easier to add new Sps then fish. Lol .
This is very true not a lot of people realized it.
Fish qt is far more complicated.
