A few pics of Schnitzel's sticks

Got a Little upgrade for my return pump. Right now my return plumbing is all PVC, and although my return pump is extremely quiet, there is some vibration passing through the plumbing.
This should stop 99% of the vibration.

It's silicone hose from BRS. Gunna cut out a small piece of pvc and add this in between to help prevent that vibration from being passed from my pump to my tank.

Also got a little magic juice. :)

After all the additives I've tried, I always go back to this one. Just makes my sps go crazy. Just sucks it's so darn expensive.

I was going to pick some Xtra special up but was told it was meant for low nutrient systems, are you still keeping nitrates up on the tank?

Your sps look great BTW

Hi Nick,I just skimmed through your build thread again,I have a few questions on your water change station. How is it working for you and are you doing daily changes. If so what equipment are you using. There is a white 1/4" line coming off the RO unit into the top of the tank and then you have it teed off to the bottom valve, what is the reason for this,I presume this is the fill line.If you are doing auto changes where are you pulling the salt water from,I know from the tank but where is the line.I saw in a thread somewhere that you are using solenoid valves how are they working out and have you had any issues with them. How many do you use. When the salt tank is empty are you pumping water across from the RO side.Sorry if some of these sound a little redundant.
Your tank is really spectacular,I will have to make a plan to come out and see it.

AoA event horizon is sick. Did yours take forever to start branching? I have a piece in a friends tank that I'm hoping it will come back.

Did you ever grab a frag of AoA triton around the same time they had the event horizOn? Curious to see how a colony of that looks.

How come the change?

I think my BK is too big for my bioload. I have a BK 250, I probably should have gotten a 200.

Plus I always wanted a skimmer with an Askoll pump. I'm not a fan of the DC pump deal. I wanted a skimmer I can just plug in and adjust the wedge pipe.

So far so good. It's a little louder than the BK, but I think it's because it's sucking ALOT more air. Pump is silent. I love Askoll pumps, they are so legit!!

That's pretty good skimmate for a new skimer

Are you still running your ATB? If so, you still happy? I can't believe how consistently this ATB stacks bubbles. We'll see how it looks after a few days. That neck cleaner works awesome too, I really like it.

Yep, still running my elegance 200. I had to change the motor block after 5 or 6 years of use. I think within those 3 years, I might have cleaned it 3 times. I probably could have gotten more life out if it but my laziness didn't help.

I got a brand new pump and impeller with this skimmer. So I figured I'm set for the next 10 years. Lol.
