Big news for the schnitzel family....just made a big purchase. I am the proud owner of my very own wienerschnitzel. Still work for my mom helping her with her stores, but this one is all mine. [emoji1303]
Working 15 hours a day and 16 days strait with no days off has been a little rough, but my tank is doing great.

Lost a couple new frags from an alk swing. No more chasing PH, saw no improvements in coral growth or color.

Unfortunately I had some RTN going on in my tank. 3 different colonies were affected. I sent some water in to Triton, and everything looks pretty normal. I did 3-40g water changes, and the RTN stopped. I wish I knew exactly what caused it, but in this hobby that seems impossible. This was the first time since I started this tank 4 years that I've had this happen.

very sorry to hear. those test make me scratch my head at times as you look for a reason but still don't find anything. are you having any temp swings since the fall weather is finally kicking in? I think my tank is finally being stable. I am finding that a water change and cleaning the pax at the same time has negative effects but still trying to find my sweet spots. I should be seeing you in the next few weeks with another round of frags.

Sounds like chemical warfare. Sorry to hear this... it’s part of the hobby. It’s why I gave myself 30 months in my $1k challenge. It’s prety much unavoidable.

Not chemical warfare, Same colonies have been growing next to each other for 4 years.
Could have been alk fluctuations. ...Orrr maybe not.
I neglected my tank for a solid 2 months, I must have missed something.
Only colony I completely lost was my SCC Planet earth tenius. She was pretty too. RIP ol girl
