Thanks to Current I got this aquapod for free at Dr. Fosters for being a trader this year at their anual coral conference.
I was soooo excited lol.

Ok so I cheated and used live rock and sand from my 150 gal.
I put some paly's in right away as a test coral cuz they were on a chunk of rock I wanted to use and kept testing the water but it never cycled.
I moved frags and corals a few at a time from my other tanks knowing if it did cycle I could move them back.
Some were ailing from being knocked over and what not and some werent.

I intended to use this tank as a frag tank but it was just too cool to do that.

Sorry bout the bad picts as photobucket always dulls them up for me.

just to show difference in the lighting this is the acan lord when I had it under my T5's. To me it doesnt look much diff in person but the camera always picks up more color under my T'5s.

That is an amazing looking 12g! If you didn't tell us the size, I would probably guess the tank is 60g plus. Geez, you have a huge diversity of small specimens, really looks nice imo.

I had to go back re-read your thread becasue I was surprised to see such a great 5 week old tank...!!! hopefully mine will look good like that soon... baby steps... hehehee

Thanks everyone!

Yes I've been collecting corals for a long time lol and had alot of frags in my 55 that I could use.

I actually had'nt cycled a tank for over 20 years so was worried at first it would cycle. I still keep my eye on it and did'nt add any fish yet.

These are great little tanks.

That orange ric is huge and ready to split. It really dwarfs my other rics lol.

Heres a full tank shot to show yes it's a 12 gallon lol.
I replaced that gawdy locline tube with a hydor flo. It did reduce the flow alot but keeps everything suspended for a long time.

I am impressed with what you done with 12 gallons. You can come out to Cal and redo anyone of my several nano's.

If you don't want that purple mushroom taking over your nano I would get rid of it now. Trust me I'm regretting leaving my small frag of shrooms in my 24 and having it turn into close to 100, leaving no room for anything else.

Thanks everyone.

No I try not let things out of hand. I'm always fragging my corals so they don't.
I have bigger tanks also to put them in or trade or sell them.
I wish that pink one next to it would turn into 100 lol I paid alot of money for those. They are hot pink but it looks more red under my PC's in the nano.
