very nice colors . are they erectus? the second pic the pony on the left does it have like red coraline algae growing on his back? i have the same thing on one of my horses.

Very beautiful! What are the tank specs? It looks like a biocube sorta....would be interested if you run a chiller if that's the case. Your horses are fantastic, but I'm REALLY impressed with the composition of the shots and the sharp closeups you got. Really great pics!

Thanks! No chiller at this point, but no heater either. When it's gets closer to summer I'll pick up a little chiller. Right now the tank is consistant at 72-74.

is that a sea rod on the left of last pic that the seahorse is hitching too? i have sea rods but my polyps are not as dense .

I'm actually not entirely sure. It was sold as a "purple gorg", so no species name available. It is not entirely photosynthetic, as I see it eating when I feed rotifers/phyto to the tank.

How long has your tank been set up? You have some beautiful animals/corals that aren't exactly easy to care for! What is your feeding regimen for your corals? And do I see an wartskin angler in there too? He's so tiny and adorable.

The tank itself has been up for two years, but about 6 months ago was converted to a seahorse tank from a nem biotope. The corals are fed once a day, phyto and a clam slurry, reef oysters as well. The seahorses eat twice a day, and I put a little squirt of phyto in that to supplement the gorgs. I change water twice a week. :)

Yep, that's a little warty. He came in soo small that's he's growing up in the pony tank, to be moved to the 75g. He's already grown almost an inch, he was about 1/2 inch to start. I would like to keep him in there, since he's not a competitor for their food, but there may
come a day that he's too big. The seahorses are 5-6 inches though, so not for awhile. :)

I do have too red algae growing on a seahorse. I usually brush them with a very soft makeup brush.

LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this! Even some of the horse people over at SWF forums think I'm crazy for that! (I use a super-soft baby toothbrush)

Beautiful horses and tank...is that a long spine urchin I see in the last picture, on the right side towards the rear of the tank?

Yes, he's coming out shortly though, and going into the big tank. Grew fast! Tried to take him out yesterday but he tagged me. Grrrr....
