Thank you. The camera was a Nikon D50 w/ a Nikkor 28-105mm @ 105mm... the following settings were used for the clown shot...

ISO 800
f8
1/100

the setup was similar for the gramma shot, the fisher's angel was shot using flash, which doesn't always work but can give some extra clarity, esp. on darker subjects...

here' s a shot where the flash showed up...

And since you liked the clown shot, here are a few more using flash... the flash tends to wash out the white bands of the clowns...
