a find at petco

so the wife and i were at the norman petco browsing around. i looked at the green carpet anemone and underneath the big ones was a very small one. it has a light tint of blue. about 35 bucks. i bought it and in my 250 tank it has the color of a baby blue..what a find at petco :bounce1: i will try to upload a pix

The blue one you got it probably a "maxi mini carrpet" S. Tapatum(may be wrong spelling) . They have been a pretty hot item in the last 2 years. They are coming in from Vietnam and there are some really nice color combos out there. They are usually about 39.99 to 200.00 depending on the rarity of the color morph they are. Good score at 34.99! Got any pics ?

hey oddballs i'll get a pix up. its not a maxi. i have 5 maxi in my main reef and this is not it. it is a small carpet about 5 inches fully opened. it ate shrimp today. more of a baby blue. just thought i share a very rare find at petco of all places

If it is not a mini maxi then you REALLY DID get a killer find for the price!! Congrats,lets see some pics.
