A FOWLR Equipment Thread

Just curious... What equipment are you using on your FOWLR? :spin2: It would be helpful to list tank size, approximate bioload, and any planned/anticipated changes to equipment as well.

As for me.. I've got a 90 gallon FOWLR with 20 gal. sump. Light bioload now, but increasing slowly to a med-heavy bioload:

Skimmer: Vertex IN-100 (will upgrade when it becomes necessary.. probably within the next few months) ..skimming wet.

Flow: Koralia Evos (1050 and 1400).. looking to increase this as well.

Lighting: 4x54 watt Tek T5 fixture. *Overkill, I know. However, I like how the bulbs really bring out the fish colors, and it helps grow algae (good for grazers, and coralline covered rocks). I usually have only 2 of the four bulbs on at any one time.

Misc: I use a BRS reactor for carbon and change it monthly. Reef Keeper Lite for lighting and temp control. ATO, although my pump died recently and I have been manually topping off in the meantime.

I have an 80 gallon aquarium with:

I have bio balls in the sump and rinse half every 3 months in tank water during a water change
