A. frenatus or melanopus?

Navyblue

Low maintenance first
So I read that frenatus tends to have red pelvic fins and melanopus' tends to be black. How about half red and half black? And does this rule apply for juveniles as well? Also I read that frenatus from certain area can have pelvic fins.

I am leaning towards frenatus though.

Looks that way. In fact liveaquaria's photo also shows a little bit of black on the pelvic fins.

That's a Tomato, if the fin is solid black, then likely chance it's a Cinnamon.

^^^ what he said.
tomatos fins are a lighter shade than the body and tend to glow a bit under the lights. hard to explain. very georgous.
