a friend needs a tank!

Hi all, a friend here at work is in need of a replacement tank, their hex has sprung another leak and they don't want to try to seal two sides.
So, she's looking for a 45g hex, or one a little smaller and she can still use that stand. Or, if you have a very good deal on a tank and stand plmk, she lives a little ways north of me so we're hoping to find one north of say, Appleton, but I'm sure we could work something out if the price was right.
I told her I'd ask here cuz it seems everyone has a tank sitting from an upgrade! :D

One more thing, undrilled please, this is freshwater. She has about a dozen of my little fishies that I gave her back in january when I switched to salt. They're all still alive and I need to help get them a new home! Thanks!

I remember seeing two tanks for sale on the cork board atPet Supplies Plus on Northland in Appleton this past Wen. I believe one was a large hex w/stand and one was a 40 or 50 ish long with stand. I have the # for the long (Tim 920-540-3689) $125 obo.

I'm sure if you call the store they can check the board for you 832-3858.

good luck

You can have this tank, stand, hood, glass tops for $100.
It's a 56gal perfecto.

Jess, I have that 30 that is going to come down... it wouldnt take much to leave the sand and the filter intact and it could run salt and would be already cycled...

I have that really nice 30 with the stone stand, drilled overflow and returns and much more... 200$ and up depending what she wants... I have 500$ into it, and it hasn't seen water...

I gave Scooters 35 hex to Davis, I'd email him, but I think he's been thinking seroiusly about what to do with it... he's got big plans. I don't want to rain on his parade.

Ok, am I the only one here who read the opening post in this thread and chuckled to myself while saying

"it's for a friend...... Yeah, right"

But, I digress
