A good Hospital Tank?

You think you need to have a permanent hospital tank? Are you running a clinic for sick fish or are you a hobbyist? :D

You might prefer working towards continual prevention rather than continual curing.

Ya, I know its sounds funny lee, but I am in the phase of curing ick on my two fish and then I am planning to build my tank and quarantine every other fish I add and corals once my tank is where I need it to be I can then tear down the Hospital tank but honestly at the ate i am going it will be a while:rolleyes:

Also an added question: To quarantine (soft) corals can I put them in a 10 gallon tank with two florescent bulbs (one blue and one white). Will that work?

You've read Steven Pro's article? Right?

If you quarantine a healthy coral, the usual thing is not to be too concerned about lighting since most corals can handle low light for a few weeks without harm. I'm not that in to corals so the article would be your best resource for info, or ask Steven directly.

I think your proposed lighting would be okay for QT.
