I bought an LTA on an impulse buy, but on the otherhand I did want to get an LTA for my maroon clowns.

its got a nice green neon look, but I think its slightly bleached.
these are pics just minutes after I put it in my tank

can anyone confirm that it is an LTA?
the pics are just with just the blue lights (not actnics), and no flash.
I have 4x39w t5s and 2x150w halides, I think that should be more than sufficient for the anemone, my parameters are pretty decent too, so that is not a concern.
in the pics its place on the bottom rock and it moved in a day to the sand and is now fully inflated in its spot.
I spot fed it some krill, should I feed everyday till it completely recovers or just feed it every few days?
also anything else I need to do or know?

Personally, I wouldn't feed it at all until it appears to be fully acclimated to your tank. I would say a week or 2.

It does look like a LTA - what color is the column / base?

It is, without a doubt, an LTA. M. doreensis. It looks pretty good. Where is its foot attached now?

Thanks, I thought it was a M.doreensis too. I hope it hosts my maroon clowns.
the anemone has moved, it moved the very first day to the sand. It now sits in the sandbed, if you look at the first pic, theres some space between the anemone and the frogspawn. It now there.
another thing is I haven't seen a flourscent lta, is mine dyed?

Nope. The fact that the foot is red is a good sign. If it was dyed it would be the same color all over. What you've got is just a somewhat unusual color morph. Very pretty.

thats what I thought too, also its not one even color all over like dyed anemones are.
I guess it just needs some TLC and should get a even brighter color soon
