I noticed it about a month ago, Sign I saw last week says opening soon...

US19, On the east side between SR580 and Curlew Rd.

Anyone know anything about it? I'll check it out when they open.

there was a little what I consider junk overpriced store there a few years ago. I haven't been back since but maybe things have changed or possibly new owners or even a different building. if I remember correctly it was toward the south end of a strip mall? curious to see what they are like let me know if you find an opening date.
there is all about aquariums on indian rocks in largo and another one in the strip mall just north of ulmerton on belcher or starkey I can't remember I don't figure they will be open too long after being in there but they also have fresh so you never know.

I've been to the one thats on Belcher and Ulmerton... They have a back section with Saltwater fish/coral... It was in sad shape last time I was there.

This new store I'm talking about is brand new, they're building everything inside it now. It's in the North part of the small strip center... hope it's a good one, but will let everyone know.

Yes it will be Holiday aquariums Pt 2 for now, although it is gonna be called Clearwater aquariums. Holiday is currently in the works for a transfer of ownership, at which point the two stores will be unconnected. The tranfer should take a month, and both stores are currently owned by the former owner of Fishy Business. The retail store, not the Website, or local maintennce guy, Steve. I do not expect it will differ much from Holiday, as the owners philosophy has not changed. If you are with me on this one, you know what I mean. Not a particularly positive notion. Yes the owner knows I feel this way. I actually hope the person buying Holiday makes changes to this philosophy. I can not give anymore details, such as opening or exact location as it may get me in trouble. I may have said too much now. If so delete with abandon. John the tang is fine now.

Just found out both stores will remain under the current ownership for the foreseeable future. The owner decided to keep both and not sell Holiday. I suppose MR closing had something to do with it.

It's called Countryside Aquariums...

It's open now, but not well stocked. They said the Grand opening is in July... They were still building/stocking/etc.

The tanks looked... well.. I'll hold judgement until they're really up and running more. The only thing I saw that I really didn't like was the cat shark that was 6" longer then the tank it was in.
