A new mate for an Allardi

Recently due to an AC problem my tank overheated, and because of this I lost the female of my mated pair of allardi clownfish. I would prefer to find a mate for the remaining male but I don't know what type of clown would be best. I would like to possibly try another breed to pair with him, or I could ask my LFS about getting another allardi. Also would you recomend getting the new one as a male so the two males can figure out who's dominent and then one would become the female?

Why do you want to do that? Allardi are beautiful fish with great personality, not prone to deseases, fry is easy to raise...The best clowns in my book

Just get a small allardi to replace the female.

How long do you think i have until the male becomes a female?

I cannot say for sure.

Bluezooaquatics has allardi in stock now. Ask for the one with the most white left of the third stripe and the smallest fish of all.
