Any comments are welcome and needed, enjoy!

looks very stable and decent! awesome rockwork and good ideas you implemented into it! I would put a cover on the bottom htough, I would usually go for the cleanest look.. keep it up! cant wait to see some monster fish in there =P

Thanks for all the comments.

the light is 30" to the bottom of the tank, so that's 21" to the surface, it's a 250W MH so it should be sufficient to this little tank.

for the bottom, I am going to cover it with 2 nicely painted panels same as the color of the wall, so all you will see is the tank hanging in the middle. that's one of the next thing on the to-do list, along with painting the huge black cable white and putting a skimmer in.

looks nice ... i am a little worried about the light being so far from the top of the tank, but i don't really know much about lighting so don't take that too seriously

I cant remember where or who i heard it from but I was told it is bad to throttle down the intake of a pump like you have done. I was told to always do it on the return line. You might want to look into it because I might be totally wrong, but aside from that very nice looking tank

Thanks for the replies.

and yes, I shouldn't have throttle down from the intake side. but that valve is there temporarily for testing purposes. I want to see how everything is gonna react with the difference of the flow. I turn it full all the way for now, will take it off soon. thanks for reminding

Very nice nano. I have a 180 and recently won a free 24g aquapod that I'm starting to set up. But this thread makes me want to do something much more elaborate :D

Thanks all.

the light unfortunately isn't adjustable. I know a lot of concerns are that the light is way higher then it should be. I think it should be enough, first of all the tank is only 9" tall, and second 250W MH puts out decent amount of light, I may not able to keep some of the hardcore SPS, but that's ok, that wan't my goal anyways. but we'll see, worse come to worse, drill another 4 holes on the wall :p

u know what, I was really thinking about popcorning the panels too, but I don't know if I can match it with the wall, maybe I can try.
