A Newer Addition

So several months ago, I picked up some cheato and left it in my QT for about a week. Then I pulled it out and placed in my sump. In the process, this little thing fell off. It first looked like a big piece of sand but it was actually a baby star fish. I figured I'd throw him in my DT. For the longest time, I didn't see him and thought he was bait. Then I found him and he had grown. Now, he is about 4 months in my tank and at most, 1/4" from point to point....

If you count, he has too many appendages. I am guessing that the group of three on top will grow into one.

Sorry for the particles floating around, I just finished up cleaning..

asterina starfish..I think they are harmless some people don't like them..they reproduce by splitting..hth

Been doing some reading and some say they will eat SPS and other stuff. If there is the risk, I'll catch him and get rid of him.

I have at least 10 in my tank and no issues with any corals..but you never know..
