I have a question about your mandarin goby, how hard is he to keep? I guess not too hard when he's got a home like that!! haha

Your a good inspiration to all us newbies! I really want to look into a mandarin goby, but I don't think he fits the profile for my tank.

What you read about Mandarins is true, mine doesnt eat anything I feed , he just eats the pods that are in the tank, and he looks all day for them, he is always swimming around looking for pods during the day, he is oblivious to the other fish, and doesnt care about feeding time like they do. So you do a need a large tank with lots of pods for them , unless you can supply your tank with pods

Yes you can buy pods, but you would need them in a refugium gravity fed back to main tank then they would feed the mandarin without the mandarin depleteing the breeding population. You can buy them at Inland Aquatics on the net

You can call them , they will help you. But wait at least 6 months, and then start the pods in fuge for few weeks before getting a mandarin

No SPS pics, no SPS , only Montipora Capricornus.
I have VHO lighting , so I have not gotten SPS.
Camera is Nikon D100, lens used in most pics is Sigma 180mm macro
