A pic of my 75 g today 1 year details.

I am in PA
I dont know what you mean about my sand, but i will try to answer. It is about 1-2 inches , more like 1 inch, what else about the sand do you want to know?
Its been in there over a year. It was Caribsea pink fiji.

I do not see your firefish in your current photos as opposed to your original ones. Did the wrasse get them or are they just in hiding? The reason I ask is since I added a tomato clown my firefish won't come out of hiding and it's getting hard to feed him. I'm trying to figure out a way to bring him out without having to remove the tomato.

It's breathtaking. Outstanding. :)

The firefish are still in there, they have always hid alot. They are only out 25% of the time, same with the royal grammas they are out about 50% of the time, thats one reason I like bigger fish, they never hide. I also have a yellow watchman that I see about once a week.

Very nice! I can't believe the colors and growth you are getting with VHO's, man I love to see that. Unfortunately, I had to use a halide because of the odd shape, it is too hard to light otherwise.

Keep up the great work!

I just replaced my Vho about 1 week ago, now my RBTA moved. It was in the same spot for almost 1 year. I also added more flow when I changed to the bigger sump, maybe t was the combination of the new flow and the new bulbs.
My flat worms are almost gone since I added the return Iwaki and put the T4 on a closed loop. But I also have the Banana wrasse , I do not know if he eats some of them, he eats everything else, including my fingers.

What are you using for the strainer for your closed loop? I am adding a Calfo Manifold to my 58gal and I want to use a gen-x 4 but the strainers that I have found are only 3/4in so I am worried about the pump cavitating. BTW your tank is really nice and its good to see some nice well maintained tanks without excessive light.

I have finally gotten my LBTA back to the spot it has been for a year. Last month it decided t decided to move and thats not good. I hope he stays put again.
